Press Release 211 Hamilton

  • On December 2nd at about 10:20 PM Law Enforcement Officers were in the area of Clara and Mason Streets conducting an investigation related to an earlier reported shooting. Officers were contacted by a subject who reported having been robbed approximately 1 hour earlier, on Hamilton Street.
  • The 21 year old male victim reported he was returning from grocery shopping, and was approached by two subjects with raised fists, demanding money. The victim struggled with the two suspects, who were able to hold the victim down and remove some of the victim’s possessions from his pocket.

    The suspects are described as black male adults, one approximately 6’1" tall, the other approximately 5’8" tall, both wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and last seen walking south on Hospital Drive.

    Ukiah Police are investigating a shooting which occurred in this general area of Ukiah, but have not yet determined if the two incidents are related. This incident remains under investigation, and anybody with information is asked to call the Ukiah Police Department at 707-463-6262.
