                       Using another person’s identity for an unlawful purpose

On 7/25/13 at 3:00 p.m., Ukiah Police Detectives, with the assistance of County, State and Federal investigators, obtained and served two search warrants on the home and office of Ukiah Surgeon, Dr. Brian M. Cable.  Detectives also obtained an arrest warrant ($150,000.00 bail) for Dr. Cable for the above listed Felony crimes. Cable was taken into custody at 4:55 p.m., for the arrest warrant and lodged in the Mendocino County Jail.

The Ukiah Police Detectives have been involved is this very complex criminal investigation for the last month. The investigation is ongoing and is expected to take some time to fully complete due to the complexity and nature of the charges. In order to insure that the integrity of the investigation and subsequent prosecution of the criminal charges remain uncompromised, the Ukiah Police Department will not be releasing any further information at this time. As the Investigation continues and further information becomes available for disclosure additional press releases will be issued.
