On 3/22/2013, a female adult from the Santa Rosa area, received information from an ID theft protection service, that credit inquires had been made using her identification information.  The inquiries were made for the purpose of establishing accounts with Macy’s, TJ Maxx, and Sears.

The victim became concerned and contacted her local banking institution, to check her account history.  The victim learned of a fraudulent cash withdraw of $1900.00, made from her checking account, from a bank branch in the Ukiah area.   It was learned a female subject entered the bank, used the victim’s ID and checking account number and made a withdraw in person, on 3/22/2013.

The victim contacted the Ukiah Police Department and a theft investigation began.  The Ukiah Police Department is attempting to identify the female subject shown in the photo to the left, caught on surveillance video committing the theft.  If anyone has information regarding her identity, please contact the Ukiah Police Department Detective Division at 707-463-6249
